Ha Long city is hosting the Spring Flower Fair 2021 in order to welcome Lunar New Year’s Eve, following the city’s safety guideline amid Covid-19 pandemic and keeping it under control.
All the booths at the fair have been enlarged, sellers and buyers are supposed to conform to defined regulations on social distancing.
The Ha Long government decides to organize only one fair taking place at the square of October 30 due to outbreak of Covid-19. The event is planned to last until Feb. 11, or the last day of the lunar year of 2020.
Earlier, spring flower fairs were supposed to be held in 3 places including the square of October 30 at Hong Hai ward, the square of Sun Carnival at Bai Chay ward, the street in the west of Troi river and the temporary area of Troi market at Hoanh Bo ward.
The event will last until Feb. 11, or the last day of the lunar year of 2020.

According to the municipal Party Committee, since late last month, the pandemic has shown complicated developments in the city. Two areas in the city have been put under lockdown.
Therefore, the committee has ordered the strict employment of pandemic prevention and control measures. The Ha Long Party Committee required all agencies and individuals in the city to determine the fight against Covid-19 as the most important and urgent mission before, during and after the Lunar New Year holiday.
