According to the specialists’ remarks, cruise tourism was gradually recovering after Covid-19 pandemic. Quang Ninh cruise market is also receiving prosper signals. Annually, ship tourism will arrive in Ha Long in the phase from November to April next year.

From the Covid-19 end to this time, tourists usually travel to Ha Long following the available sea route. The cruise ship tourism season 2024 has begun with positive signals in the early years as the return of many familiar and luxurious brands such as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Azamara, Mein Schiff 5 cruise ships… which took a thousand of English, Canadian, and American travelers to Ha Long city. In particular, The World ship from the USA came back to Ha Long for the first time in many years and brought over 170 American and European millionaire and billionaire visitors, who stayed 4 days in Ha Long.

Quang Ninh Tourism Department informed that Ha Long is estimated to welcome around 60-70 cruise ships taking roughly 70.000 tourist arrivals in 2024, in which last year’s occasion will be a rush time to greet travelers. 

To guarantee the best services for tourists, the local administration and travel agencies regularly take care of developing, renewing tourism products to attract and ramp-up their consumption.
