In 5 days of the Reunification & Labour day holiday occasion (from 27 April to 1 May), there were 1.017.848 tourist arrivals visited Quang Ninh province (up 148% over the same period in 2023), based on the statistics of local traveler reports, tourist attractions and hotels.

According to the practical figures, a number of international tourists traveled to Quang Ninh in 5 days holiday is 92.768 arrivals (up 246% over the same period in 2023) included 10 typical markets such as: China (47.948), Taiwan (9.883), Korea (8.638), India (2.629)… A acncommodating visitor total is estimated at 429.000 arrivals (rise 150% over the same period in 2023) and take 42% of total number of travelers to Quang Ninh.

In addition, room occupancy of 4 and 5-star (from 28 April to 30 April) was around 95-100% and those of the other accommodation were roughly 70-80%. The locals such as Co To, Mong Cai, Quan Lan, Minh Chau and Ha Long city had 100% room occupancy in 3 rush days (from 28 Apirl to 30 April). 

At the famous tourist areas, Ha Long Bay welcomed about 85.000 arrivals (get 119% with the same period in 2023); Sun World park welcomed around 76.000 arrivals; Quang Ninh Museum welcomed 34.700 guests; Mong Cai city welcomed over 168.000 guests. The number of Co To island, Van Don district and Cai Chien island respectively were 44.500, 78.000 and 4000 tourist arrivals.
