On 23 to 28th July, a Quang Ninh delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Director of Trade Department took part in the events. The delegation also includes representatives of the Tourism Department, Trade Department’s officials and other travel, trade enterprises of Quang Ninh province.
Quang Ninh province has set up a booth introducing and displaying publications, products, which showed the provincial images, trade and travel potentials to Chinese and international tourists, promoted typical items and local OCOP products.
In the framework of the event, Quang Ninh Tourism Information and Promotion Center has launched Quang Ninh tourism books and items, which highlighted Ha Long Bay world natural heritage, Van Don international airport, Ha Long- Mong Cai highway… A representative of Entity tourism & trade JSC has presented special travel products, attracting tourists from Yunnan to Nanning and entering Vietnam at Mong Cai international border gate to visit Quang Ninh.
The units as Quang Ninh (Bavabi) aquatic product production and trade Co., Ltd has took many significant products to the fair such as oyster, shrimp, fish flosses…; Ngoc Tu tea company (Hai Ha district) brought a lot of unique organic tea products like Duong Hoa tea, along with other famed OCOP items such as apricot and Yen Tu codonopsis alcohols, Quy Hoa yellow flower tea, Binh Lieu glass noodles… to Yunnam and Chinese people, and visitors, foreign businesses in the expo.
Besides, a Quang Ninh delegation also attend connected activities on trade and tourism embracing: Governors’ Forum of the Mekong Sub-region Economic Corridor in 2024; The 6th South East Asia – China trade forum in 2024; The tourism cooperation forum through Viet – China border in 2024.
The expo contributes to concretize cooperative agreements between Quang Ninh and China’s provinces and areas; strongly push tourism, trade promotion programs between both Quang Ninh and Yunam province, China in 2024; linking effectively provincial promoted activities in the area and international events; supporting the enterprises joining in the fair, contributing to expand the market and connect, exchange, meet, find partners, promote trade and product consumption.
