Heading to a ceremony of 75 years building foreign relationship between Vietnam and China, along with human culture exchange year of both countries in 2025, the Ministry of Sport, Culture and Tourism held Vietnam Culture – Tourism Festival in Kunming city, Yunnan province and Chongqing city, China. This is considered as a vital landmark in cooperation between two states that have had a long time relationship and close-connected culture.

In the framework of event string, Quang Ninh’s delegation took part in the activities like visiting and working with leaders of Yunnan Culture, Sport Department, China on 4th November, Chongqing city Culture and Tourism Development Council on 6th November.

The Vice Director of Vietnam National Authority of Tourism emphasized the importance of travel cooperation between Vietnam and China in general and Yunnan and Chongqing cities in particular.

Vietnam has a lot of suitable destinations, tourism service products for China tourists, especially visitors who come from Yunnan and Chongqing provinces. In addition, the cultural, natural, ecological tourism combined with cultural, cuisine relics and island sea travel… are a remarkable trend appealing to China travelers. Besides Yunnan province and Chongqing city, China has many attractive places with Vietnamese people.

In the seminar, Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh, Director of Quang Ninh Tourism Department launched new local tourism products to China visitors in general and people of Yunnan and Chonging in particular. At the same time she hoped that localities would vigorously push cooperation, tourism growth and local national management agencies would create advantageous conditions for travel businesses connecting, exchanging their guests between Quang Ninh and Yunnan, Chongqing.

Quang Ninh province also set up a booth promoting the local travel images in the Tourism – Culture festival in Kunming and Chongqing. The unique books and travel products, along with typical OCOP items of Quang Ninh such as yellow flower alcohol and tea of Huy Hoang co-operative, Duong Hoa tea of Viet Tu Commerce and Building Investment Co., Ltd (Hai Ha) were shown up to tourists to advertise natural beauties and highlighted cultural characteristics of the province. This is also a strategic step to consolidate and develop the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and China, especially in the field of culture and tourism.
