In 07 days of Tet holiday from 08 – 14/02/2024, the total number of tourists in the province is estimated at 801.000 (around 120% over the same period in 2023). International visitors got about 108,900 and the number of accommodation tourists are roughly 98.269.
The top 10 international visitor markets to Quang Ninh include: China (48,872 arrivals), Korea (19,096 arrivals), Taiwan (13,884 arrivals); India (4,253); U.S. (3,773); Germany (2,555); France (2,527); United Kingdom (2,442; Canada (1,813); Australia (1,425).
In tourist areas attractions such as: Ha Long Bay welcomed about 46,000 visitors; of which international visitors reached 35,500; The museum welcomes around 3,350 visitors; Sun World Park welcomed about 13,100 visitors; Yen Tu relic scenic area welcomed roughly 75,300 visitors.
In addition, Ba Vang Pagoda welcomed about 105,300 visitors; The Tran dynasty ruins welcomed round 57,400 visitors; Bach Dang Quang Yen relic area welcomed around 90,000 visitors. The number of visitors in Cua Ong Temple and Cai Bau Pagoda repspectively are roughly 77,000 and 72.500 tourists. Besides, international travellers entering through Mong Cai border gate are estimated at 24,000.
Total travel revenue is about VND 1,562 billion (around 104% over the same period in 2023).
