The Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee has announced a list of 53 busi- ness establishments which meet the standards to serve tourists. Accordingly, the 53 business establishments include restaurants and shopping centres in Ha Long, Uong Bi, Mong Cai and Cam Pha cities, Quang Yen and Dong Trieu towns, and Van Don district. Specifically, Ha Long city has seven shopping centres and 22 restaurants, Uong Bi has four restaurants, Quang Yen has one restaurant, Mong Cai has six shopping centres and two restaurants, Cam Pha has one shop- ping centre and two restaurants, Dong Trieu has five shopping centres and two restaurants, and Van Don has two restaurants.

According to the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in the first quarter of 2017, total tourist arrivals to the province were estimated at nearly 3.77 million, achiev- ing 43.8% of the year’s plan, a year-on-year rise of 12%.
