On 31 May, in Tra Co beach, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh Department of Tourism has held a program propagating the law of protect environment in the tourism industry, responding the biological diversify International Day, the world Environment Day, the world Ocean Day, Vietnam sea and island Week and environmental action month in 2024. Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, Vice Chairman of Mong Cai city People’s Committee partaken in the event. 

Quang Ninh province are striving for the goal of becoming international tourism hub, which has modern and synchronous infrastructure; special, diversified, high-quality, strong brand, tourism products imbued with the essence of national culture in the province, capable of competing with other countries in the region and internationally; it is indeed a key economic sector, a driving force for fast and sustainable socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security. Therefore, travel growth associated with environmental protection is an extremely important task of all levels of government, agencies, departments, businesses, people and tourists.

The program is organized to call on the organizations, branches, travel and service businesses, resident community, travelers of Mong Cai to enhance knowledge, responsibility on the importance of protecting and recovering the environment and ecosystem, facing climate change according to provincial and government regulations issued. In addition, the event aims at people becoming ambassadors of the tourism industry to shield our habitat.

After the event, the Tourism Department, Mong Cai city and Tra Co ward People’s Committee, along with the large number of people, enterprises, and visitors collected garbage at Tra Co beach and sticked QR code popularizing the rules of service and travel business, environmental protection at the restaurants.
