On 19th Feb, the fleet of 11 Clipper 70’s has arrived in Ha Long International Cruise Port, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, within the framework of Clipper 2023-24 Round the World Yacht Race. This is the first time Quang Ninh province become the Home Port welcoming the crew to the beautiful marine Ha Long city.

On the ranking of Race 7: Endless Discovery in Ha Long Bay, Qingdao yacht (China) has excellently gained the first one on the podium. Following Qingdao are constantly Zhuhai (China) and Unicef (America) with their great efforts. Team Ha Long Bay, Vietnam had stood at 3rd when Race 7 took place, but unfortunately they just arrived 5th finally. 

On 21st Feb, Quang Ninh province formally organized a welcoming ceremony to greet the fleets arriving in Ha Long city. The ceremony was the attendance of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh province; Ms. Nguyen Thuy Yen, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Tourism Department… In the happy air of the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Yen sent warm welcome and good health wishes to the Organizer, crews and supporters of the Clipper 2023-24 Race.

The Clipper 2023-24 Race Organising Committee, Race Crew had an interesting morning when they enjoyed dragon dance and snacks, Ha Long beer… Leaders of Quang Ninh province, Tourism Department and Ha Long city presented flowers to 11 skippers and whole crews. 

Race crews will have a lot of time for clearing their yachts and visiting tourist attractions, experience unique services in Ha Long city and Quang Ninh province. In addition, they will participate in the Business Conference, B2B Connect and Prizegiving ceremony on 28th Feb, along with Sails Day on 29th Feb and the other attractive activities…
