1. Go shopping in the fair, Dong Van market

Fair is operated every Sunday at Binh Lieu center market. On this day, people from all villages and some neighborhoods (Tien Yen, Ba Che, Dam Ha…) bring agricultural and forestry produces to exchange and sell. The fair has many typical produces such as: Bathing leaves,medicines, cakes (wormwood cake, cooc mo cake, tai long ep cake) and local specialties.

Dong Van market is not only the place for trading local products,but also a destination for couples to hangout. It is most crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. Every year on Kieng Gio Day (4th of the April lunar), Dao Thanh Phan people gather at Dong Van market to celebrate the festival. Visitors will enjoy the cuisines of ethnic groups, especially the stir-fried noodles.

 

2. Climbing Cao Ly Mountain

Located in Hoanh Mo and Dong Van commune, Binh Lieu district, Cao Ly mountain is 1.200m high. It is an ideal place for tourists to go camping and sighseeing

 

3. Visiting border land marks and climbing destinations

Binh Lieu has 42,999 km of border with China. It is known as a milestone paradise with majestic and poetic border patrol roads. Some  milestones between poetic beauty: 1302,1305, 1317, 1327,…

1317 Milestone is located at Hoanh Mo Border Gate area. It is made of marble, next to the inter-branch control gate of the bilateral border on Viet Nam – China mainland. Tourists can visit, take photo and learn about the border between Viet Nam and China.
