Ba Che is a mountainous district in northeastern Quang Ninh province (more than 80 km from Ha Long city along National Highway 18A from Ha Long to Mong Cai). The North borders Dinh Lap district, Lang Son province; The South borders Hoanh Bo district and Cam Pha city; The East: border with Tien Yen district; The West: border with Son Dong district, Bac Giang province.
